Not-a-meme #13: Secrets and confessions

Well Vint has tossed us a hardball with this Not a meme! It's time to tell the secrets! A Two fold task that comes down to this...
Reveal a secret about both your Second Life and Your First Life.

Second Life:
There is a bit in a book by my favorite author that goes something like this:
"We have neither of us any thing to tell; you, because you do not communicate, and I, because I conceal nothing."

I fall rather into the conceal nothing category. Both my 1st and 2nd lives are fairly open books so this was rather hard for me to come up with something. I don't play a character in SL I am me... with a better figure :D So I settled on this...

I am Eudy's Mistress... yes it's true. All anyone has to do is look at him closely though it's right out there for the world to see with the collar around his neck. We don't make a big deal out if though. Lots of people who are our friends never notice. I am his mistress for one reason and one reason only... he asked me to be. (Here is a question though if I am only doing it because he asked who is the real submissive here?) It's more symbolic then anything that he is placing himself in my hands...

First Life:
This was much easier for me....
People often tell me in SL that I always look well put together; however.... I am NOT a fashionista in real life! I am poor in the terms of cash in the real world, and since I am a single mom and have 4 children to clothe mine tend to fall to the bottom of the list. I am known by some in SL for my fab shoes... offline I own 2 pairs... one I wear to dress up and another that frankly has holes in them... it's not that I don't love shoes I just can't afford the ones I really want. While I draw the line at wearing clothes with holes in them the majority of mine aren't much better then my shoes....

This was brave of me I realize.... what with people like Tenshi making snarky remarks about people who are in the fashion world who talk the talk in SL should walk the walk offline as well. I have this to say however... not everyone is blessed with the wealth, health and happiness it takes to be a fashion diva in our first lives. Should that stop us in SL? Will it stop our friends and customers who turn to us for advice? I rather doubt it.

Very nice! Some secrets are meant to be shared. But then that makes you wonder why they are secrets, hm? Heh!
